"I never show up in a mirror, never watch a sunrise, and never come in unless invited. I sleep in a box and cannot abide garlic. What am I?"
Answer
A Vampire
Explanation
In folklore and fiction a vampire casts no reflection, is destroyed by sunlight, cannot cross a threshold uninvited, sleeps in a coffin and is driven off by garlic. Most of these rules were fixed in the popular imagination by Bram Stoker's Dracula in 1897 and the films that followed it.
